• Client side - hospitality and commercial project
• Large scale development
• This is a role at client side as a Design Project Manager to lead and deliver the detailed design in Architecture, fit-out and landscape project in HengQin China. Based in Macau and HengQin, you will be the key interface between the developer and the consultants/contractors to deliver this project on time, under budget and to the highest quality.
• Reporting to Project Principal and liaise with the LDI, your responsibilities will include:
• Coordinate the design programme, design and progress schedules with the Design Delivery Team.
• Reviews and approves all architectural and building services related matters.
• Ensure design briefs and functional requirements are met during the construction and renovation and fit-out period;
• Manage communication between stakeholders to ensure progress is met in line with brief;
• Perform contract administration and site supervision;
• Liaise with relevant parties on statutory submissions, approvals and inspections.
• Coordinates and oversee consultants' technical review on Contractors' submissions, including material/sample submissions, method statements, shop drawings, etc,
• Desired Skills & Experience:
• You must have a degree or above in Engineering, Architecture, Interior Architecture, Project Management or related disciplines:
• You must have at least 15 years of practical working experience in design leadership, especially delivering complex major projects for the developer.
• Competent in design management, and the management of internal and external consultants and contractors.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin language skills with an ability to master communication across multiple stakeholders of the project.
• Candidates available at short notice will be highly preferred as this role should be an immediate start.
