Our client, a leading Toy Company in Asia Pacific, having global operations in USA and Europe too are looking for a Head of Sourcing & Procurement for their business as they are expanding in Hong Kong. Toys category age group is 2 to 8 plus years and they have their own product line and also inbound licensing holder of famous Toy Brands.

Responsibilities:

•          Manage the sourcing & buying, quality & compliance functions for OEM orders
•          Lead & develop sourcing and procurement strategies and handle contract negotiations
•          Responsible for assessing and monitoring quality of the products & production, and compliance of existing vendors

Requirement:

•          Degree holder in Business or related disciplines
•          10+ years relevant sourcing and procurement experience in Toys
•          Knowledge of product development, production process, product testing            
•      Knowledge of Compliance, factory accreditation & QA process.
•          Strong network with suppliers and product development persons in China
•          Self-motivated with a strong sense of commitment
•          Excellent people management and business development skill
•          Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
