About the Role:

Scoping of new studies (global, regional, local, internal/academic) including conceptualisation of study implementation in collaboration with sponsor

• Leading development of operational strategy by liaising with other functional heads within George Clinical for proposal development and preparing proposal documents for input and review by functional heads
• Taking ownership of assigned RFPs through the proposal, bid defence, handover for implementation and scope adjustment activities
• Preparing bid defense material as required, working with all internal stakeholders during the proposal development and evaluation stages and with clients as required
• Handover of new projects, including scope of project in accordance with the pricing grid, to the assigned Project Leader and Project Finance Manager
• Developing new processes for scoping, pricing and pitching studies to improve quality of proposals and efficiency of proposed solutions
• Helping to define improvements to pricing model features/functionality
• Reviewing pricing model assumptions and standard hours/tasks.

   

About You:

• At least 5 years experience in a CRO or similar company
• A strong background or exposure to Project Operations (eg. as SCRA or PM), with the ability to understand study requirements and develop study assumptions from a protocol or synopsis
• Significant experience in, and knowledge of, the clinical research industry
• Exceptional Excel skills
• Business development experience desirable
• Must have strong writing skills, preferably with previous experience developing proposals
• Excellent analytical, time management, organisational, written and oral communication skills.
