Our client is a Hong Kong based world-class convention and exhibition organizer; To cope with their rapid growth, an EHS manager is now in need for their HK convention and exhibition Centre

Responsibilities:

• To manage a small team to maintain and review OHSAS 18001 / EH&S 14001 Standard & Food Hygiene and safety management system for the venue area;
• To closely work with stakeholders in the industry to ensure the safety and health in events held in the venue
• To liaise with authorities to ensure all necessary safety & environmental related licenses and certificates are obtained for the operation
• To closely work with internal and external parties to maintain / comply safety standards
• To monitor Carbon footprint in the operation of the client’s venue area
• To provide professional solutions and ideas for business development team in order to match client requested  

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree Holder in Engineering, Environmental or equivalent
• Professional qualification is a MUST; Registered safety officer or above is needed
• Extensive formal training in EHS experience in ISO14001 & 18001
• Over 5 years professional experience in EH&S Management; Hands-on experience in Environmental & Fire management is a MUST; Food Hygiene or Carbon safety management will be a big advantage
• Proven people management skills; Strong in project management and problem solving skills mind set with good communication skills
• Good in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
