Responsibilities:

• Assist in the supervision of building services and facilities in building maintenance including provision of technical services for all maintenance functions;
• Solve technical problems and deal with urgent/emergency repairs for designed estates and managed properties;
• Prepare design, budgets, estimates, drawings, specifications and tender document for maintenance and improvement works of building;
• Supervise and monitor work progress on site and certify work completion;
• Conduct regular site inspection to monitor the progress of maintenance works and make necessary recommendations for improvement;
• Supervise the work performance of contractors;
• Assist in other ad-hoc projects as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree/ Higher Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or Building Surveying;
• Holder of Registration Certificate of Electrical Worker (Grade B or above);
• 3 years or above building maintenance experience;
• Experience gained in property management companies / shopping mall environment in relation to the premises improvement projects and/or building maintenance projects a definite advantage;
• Proficient in MS Office and Chinese word processing;
• Proficiency in Auto-CAD application;
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese including Putonghua;
• Self-motivated and able to prioritize assignments and can work independently;
• Effective communication skills in dealing with contractors and consultants;
• Candidates with more experience/ higher qualifications will be considered for the post of Senior Maintenance Officer.
