Our client is a strong consumer brand with business across the globe. They are seeking for an energetic professional to join its food quality functions in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Function Leader, you will oversee quality and safety functions of food items imported from overseas to Asia. You will implement food quality program and formulate standard operations procedures (SOP) to optimize handling process. You will liaise with global quality and manufacturing teams to resolve any quality issues found at the end market. You will conduct quality risk assessment and establish record for tracking. You will manage label compliance roadmap and external lab testing. Additionally, you will establish quality system in accordance to corporate standard and drive new initiatives into local market.

Successful candidate will possess the following competencies and attributes:

• University degree in Food Science, Nutrition or any other related disciplines
• At least 5 years of work experience in food QA and safety control, preferably from food manufacturing sector
• Experience in ISO9001/ FSSC2200 auditing; knowledge in HACCP
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and fast in learning
• Ability working with cross-functional teams across various regions worldwide
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent in English and Mandarin is essential
