Responsibilities

• Take lead in the development process of planning, designing, and integrating high-performance backend APIs modules to engine our internal website and other external projects.
• Directly work with the management team for strategic business direction and translate the requirements into product development.
• Interact with frontend developers and contribute to the improvement of user interface & experience (UI/UX).
• Develop new skills, pick up new technologies and learn from your colleagues while sharing your own knowledge.
• Build a masterpiece project to add to your career.
• Perform other duties as required.

Basic Qualifications

• Professional experience in developing clean, testable, maintainable, and performant code.
• Background in the latest backend technologies (NodeJs, Elasticsearch, Asynchronous programs, AWS / GCP / IBM Softlayer).
• Intermediate or in-depth knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database.
• Experience working with an Agile developing practice of continuous integration, Git version control, unit testing, etc.
• Team player, self-motivated, and open to peer opinions.
• Able to multitask, prioritize workload, and work well under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of professional back-end development experience.
• Experience with eCommerce & online marketplaces.
• Experience with cross-platform / device development.
• Experience with handling large-scale of big data.
• Involvement with development using GCP /AWS platform.
