Job Description
Responsibilities:
The candidate will assist the Head of Practice Protection Department to handle technical matters as well as the risk management matters of the Firm. He/she will also work closely with the Training Committee on training matters. His/ her main responsibilities include:
- Carry out technical review on high risk engagements;
- Monitor the Firm’s compliance with internal and relevant professional, ethical standards and guidelines;
- Plan, co-ordinate and prepare for training matters including tutoring training classes.
Qualification:
- University graduate in accounting or related field
- CPA qualification is a must
- 6 years or above working experience in international professional accounting firms
- In-depth knowledge of HKFRS, HKSAs and Listing Rules with strong audit sense
- Strong self-motivation, able to work independently with strong commitment; able to work under tight timeline
- Good writing skills and communication skills
- Computer literacy and proficient with Windows applications
- Prior working experience in technical and risk management matters is not a prerequisite but is a definite advantage
- More experience may be considered as Senior Manager
