Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal departments and BU R&D team for developing new products
• Lead and monitor the development flow from trial to product launch
• Improve existing formula, design product prototype and packaging
• Prepare improved/new products SOP document
• Perform nutrition analysis, shelf-life testing and sensory evaluation
• Conduct production trials and monitor final product quality and process
• Perform cost analysis and risk assessment supported by laboratory analysis of microbiological and chemical results
• Other ad hoc projects as assigned

Requirements

• Degree holder in Food Science or Food Technology
• 2-4 years experience in food manufacturing industry or relevant working experience
• Knowledge of theoretical food properties, sensory analysis, food safety, HACCP will be required
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-initiating and detailed minded with strong coordinating and organizational skills
• Good command of English and Cantonese
• Proficient in PC and able to work with limited supervision
• Working location: Tai Po Industrial Estate
