Job Duties:

  • Act as a strategic business partner of the management and business divisions to formulate and drive the corporate marketing and communication strategies in line with corporate mission and business direction to build a positive profile for HKPC
  • Develop and drive the development of marketing initiatives in support of business development initiatives
  • Lead the development of HKPC’s corporate media engagement strategy that spans multiple channels including social media, video and other communications media platforms to promote HKPC services to the press, media and stakeholders
  • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement strategies in supporting effective, timely and accurate communications to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop crisis management strategies and execution plans
  • Develop and drive the Corporate Communications team to provide a full range of communication services (such as media functions, event management, publications and production, etc) to business divisions

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree or above in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or equivalent
  • At least 10 years’ solid experience in corporate communications in sizable organizations
  • Excellent track records in developing and implementing key corporate communications strategies and initiatives
  • Strong media relations and stakeholder management experience
  • Familiar with the media, government, politics, public affairs, corporate governance, industry and business momentum
  • Socially and politically sensitive and keep abreast of developments in the political and social landscape
  • Good judgment sense, crisis and risk management skills and managed to address critical issues tactfully
  • Excellent influencing and problem solving skills and able to influence at all levels of a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with a strong command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua and Cantonese)

A competitive salary package commensurate with academic qualifications and experience will be offered. The successful candidates will be employed on a fixed-term contract basis, which is renewable subject to appointee’s performance and the Council’s development needs.
