Reporting to the AGM, the incumbent will be the marketing person-in-charge for strengthening the destination’s brand positioning and appeal. 

Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement creative and effective marketing and publicity programs;
• Liaise with complementary external entities and marketing channels to explore coops, partnerships, and business generation opportunities;
• Handle sponsorship requests;
• Build and maintain relationship with local lifestyle media and KOLs to ensure regular positive media coverage;
• Coordinate with relevant internal business units and external stakeholders to ensure synergy amongst all public facing activities taking place at the destination
• Ensure all tasks are satisfactorily completed on schedule and within budgets

Requirements:

• University graduate with major in Marketing, Tourism or related disciplines;
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in marketing and event planning;
• Good design sense, PR and copywriting skills;
• Good understanding and working knowledge of social media marketing
• Strong business acumen, leadership and communication skills;
• Pleasant, mature, self-motivated, detail-minded, creative and outgoing;
• Good command in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Mandarin;
• Good computer skills.
