Job Description
Duties:
- Manage the activities and programme of the Association including superivison and management of clerical staff
- Prepare budgets and regular reports to respective Committees
- Attend meetings of the Committees and prepare minutes of the meeting
- Liaise with relevant parties or Government Departments on all matters connected with the development of the sports at all level
- Organize events and programmes of the Association
- Promote the development of the sport and arrange publicity
- Undertake any ad hoc duties as assigned; and
- Require to work in weekends/holidays
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage
Qualifications:
- Degree holder; with related discipline in Sports/ Physical Education/Recreation is an advantage
- Minimum 4 years of related experiences in sports field;
- Strong supervision skill and good team player
- Responsible, self-motivated, hard working and willing to learn
- interested in Sports promotion and development
Salary
- HK$22K-26K depends on qualification and experience.

Hong Kong Amateur Swimming Association (“HKASA”) was founded in early 1950, and is a member of the Federation Internationale De Natation (FINA), Asian Swimming Federation (AASF) and Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF & OC). It is the sole governing body of swimming sports in Hong Kong covering all swimming, diving, water polo, synchronized swimming, open water swimming and masters competitions and activities here. In the past 60 years, the Association has been promoting and developing swimming sports, thus raising the standard of swimming, nurturing elite swimmers and providing training to athletes, officials, judges and coaches in Hong Kong through organizing different competitions, training courses and relevant teaching activities.
