This is a fixed-term contract position of minimum 2 years with possibility for renewal subject to organization need and individual performance.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the project management team in the overall management and supervision of safety and health aspects of all construction projects;
• Implementing safety and health programs, and proactively engaging with contractors to resolve safety related issues/potential hazards in an effective and efficient manner;
• Assisting in preparation of in-house safety training, promoting continuous improvement in contractors’ safety performance and uplift safety standards;
• Conducting regular safety inspections for all contractors’ sites, issuing safety inspection reports and site safety notices, and monitoring follow-up corrective/preventive actions; and
• Monitoring work progress, preparing comprehensive daily work records and monthly safety reports, and providing other administrative supports as assigned

Requirements:

• Higher Certificate / Higher Diploma in Civil / Structural Engineering or other related disciplines
• Registered Safety Officer (RSO) with the Labour Department.  Possession of Registered Safety Auditor (RSA) qualification would be an advantage
• At least 8 years’ experience in site safety management and supervision of large construction projects.  Degree holder with at least 4 years’ experience will also be considered
• Well versed with occupational safety and health legislations and practices
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Possession of a valid driving licence
