Responsibilities

• Being programme coordinator in Hong Kong Office for China Programme;
• Responsible for programme administrative supporting, including but not limited to correspondences, minutes taking and translation of documents, invitations, news clippings, correspondences, notices, meeting paper and reports etc.;
• Coordinate medical programme with professionals, hospitals, foster families or volunteers;
• Assist in data collection, database update and maintenance of media library;
• Client stories and programme reports writing for the Board, websites, donor, fund-raising etc.;
• Assist in monitoring donation material.
• Assist China Programme Head / Consultant on tasks follow-up etc.;
• Draft reports, replies, blogs, speeches and prepare presentations for Executive Director;
• Support the senior management on external affairs and community services;
• Responsible for translation, preparing meeting minutes and drafting official correspondences;
• Conduct research on social, public policies or other related issues;
• Daily news research and special updates; &
• Any ad hoc duties as required by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Degree or above in Humanitarian, Anthropology, Sociology, Social Work, Business Administration or relevant disciplines;
• Minimum 2 years working experience in social services or China programme will be an advantage;
• Network with churches is preferable;
• Cultivate and pursue Christian excellence in our work and align with the Christian Vision, Mission and Core Values of Christian Action;
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese languages including Putonghua;
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills and quick response;
• Good analytical, presentation skills and capable to handle multi-task;
• Willing to work under pressure and independently;
• Passionate to serve the orphans and abandoned children in China; &
• Occasional travel to China is required.
