Roles and Responsibilities

• Capable to source the right suppliers and products in supporting growth of business.
• Work with vendors in preparing quotation and samples before buying seasons.  Closely works with vendors and buyers i.e. price negotiation, products presentation, quote sheet handling, preparing contracts etc.
• Assist Dept. Manager and Compliance Dept. in ensuring complete vendor compliance with all customs regulations and consumer standards.
• Work with Quality Assurance Dept. to ensure on time testing & inspection of merchandise and follow up on testing & Inspection reports.
• Track and follow up all details of import orders.
• Follow up packaging development of all orders.
•  Act as communication channel to vendors, buyers and supporting departments i.e. track orders shipments and assist in chasing shipping documentation to logistics department and update the revised contract information to related department.
• Support Ad hoc assignments as necessary

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 4  years of merchandising and sourcing experience, preferably in US buying office or Multinational Trading Company
• Good commercial and analytical sense
• Good communication, presentation and organizational skills
• Able to work under pressure and meet tight project timeline
• Good command in both written and verbal English & Mandarin
• Good computer skills in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Detail oriented and possess can-do attitude
