Responsibilities:

• Maintain records of goods ordered and received.
• Assist in sourcing food and non-food items.
• Locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.
• Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.
• Prepare reports regarding market conditions and merchandise costs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in purchasing or related functions is preferred
• 3 years above experience in purchasing, experience in Catering industry would be an advantage
• Familiar with MS Office application, including Word, Excel & Chinese Word Processing
• Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin
• Immediate available is highly preferred
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Purchasing Officer
