Job Description

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Take the lead in assisting customers to identify suitable residential properties within their stated parameters. Liaise with other Cartus Relocation Consultants to deliver full relocation services for expatriate families. Prepare suitable shortlist of properties and to meet and guide customers in home finding. Once a property selection is made, negotiate leasing terms & agreement on behalf of the customer and follow through all relevant paperwork, move-in arrangements and follow up works. Manage Client relationship through daily contacts, provide professional advices and respond to Client requests. Assist customers settling into life in Hong Kong by providing housing tours, area familiarization tours, school visits and settling-in services.

 

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Customer counseling via telephone and email, assists to counsel the customer on the services we will assist with. Provides solutions to any questions the customer and their family may have. Provides updated destination information as and when required.
  • Prepares information pack and presents to customer.
  • Counsel customer on the existing schools and clubs situation, arrange for school tours/interviews and accompany the family for visits as required.
  • Prepare offer letter and negotiates lease agreements with Landlords of the selected properties.
  • Check the property prior to move-in date, complete Pre-Move In Inspection Form and ensure property is ready on time.
  • Liaise with customer and utility companies, answer customer’s questions and arrange for the connection or disconnection of all utilities at the customers property. Update the utility questionnaire whenever new information is received.
  • Conclude all open issues for the files, create summary report. Provide all relevant copies/original documents for completing hard file and posting soft copy on system. Ensure that both internal and external reports are completed on time and accurate.
  • Raise internal billing memos for deposits, upfront rentals, stamp duty, commissions etc. in a timely & accurate manner.
  • Work in close co-operation with other members of the IDSP Teams and International Assignment Services teams in other markets.

  

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION

  • A minimum of two years real estate/relocation experience, preferably strong in low budget sector.
  • Holder of EAA license (either Salesperson or Estate Agent License) 

 

LANGUAGE AND OTHER SKILLS

  • Fluent written and spoken Cantonese & English.
  • Mandarin preferred but not compulsory.
  • Knowledge of MS Office 2013 - Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
