Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain the forecast and budget for new investment opportunities and tenders, making sure impacts are captured from changing business strategies
• Execute all monthly reporting requirements and analyses, whilst ensuring deadlines are met
• Operate and control databases used to support and evaluate business initiatives
• Develop a comprehensive understanding and knowledge to assist in reporting, identifying improvements, and supporting strategic initiatives
• Act as a liaison and support the team by establishing relationships and working with other business partners (both internal and external) to identify business opportunities and associated risks
• Participate in monthly forecast vs. actual reviews with the management and cross functional teams, and prepare monthly summary / presentation to the Management and Board of Directors
• Participate in new project development (cost control, contract management, licensing)
• Respond to ad-hoc reporting and analysis requests from business units and support special projects in a timely manner
• Consolidate financial data and analyse monthly financial reports from all network locations
• Prepare detailed financial projections, CAPEX analysis, DCF analysis to support business development
• Assist in preparing operating budget and forecast update
• Involve in year-end and interim audits / statutory reporting

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree holder in Finance or Accounting with a sharp analytical mind
• Minimum 3 years’ working experience preferably in MNC’s or international audit firms
• A detail-oriented critical thinker with strong business sense, able to analyse the correlation between facts and figures and explain fluctuations and variances, in order to support the business cases
• Solid interpersonal skills with experience in developing and maintaining effective business relationships with various levels of the organisation
• Experience in using database / reporting applications, preferably Access and SQL
• Intermediate to advanced Excel ability
• Sound knowledge in financial reporting / statutory requirements
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese
• Mature, articulated, well-organised, responsible, detail-minded and self-motivated team member
• Ability to work under pressure and independently
• This position requires occasional travel to network locations
