The first product on our journey to become a fully digital banking platform will be a multi-currency travel card with an innovative e-wallet application. We are an international team of seasoned professionals and entrepreneurs with offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, and across Southeast Asia. Being one of the first in the region, we are partnering with trusted consumer brands to launch our product in the coming months.

We look for entrepreneurial individuals who demonstrate professionalism in regulatory advisory. The ideal candidate for this Compliance Officer / Manager position is someone who exhibits strong passion in problem solving for our innovative platform, as well as ability to balance regulatory risk and commercial aspects.

Responsibilities:

• Apply for relevant regulatory licenses in various Asian jurisdictions via coordination with external consultants and regulators by drafting and submitting information and documents as requested
• Draft and maintain company policy documents
• Be the key contact point on licensing, regulatory matters, driving regulatory compliance and risk awareness across the region
• Work closely across teams in providing advisory on regulatory matters and impacts that may arise from firm-wide / business changes
• Provide support to business and operations units on compliance-related matters including regulatory inquiries, updates on regulatory changes, and conduct legal research, handle various legal documentation, contract and agreements

Requirements:

• 3+ years of legal, paralegal, compliance, or regulatory experiences from law firms, Big 4, regulatory bodies, or financial industry
• Paralegal and license application experiences are desirable
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to solve problems
• Excellent speaking and writing skills in English is a MUST
