Job Description
The mission of the HKEX Innovation Lab is to explore and accelerate creative new business solutions for HKEX. With a dedicated team of capital markets enthusiasts, developers and thought leaders, we search for, incubate and invest in cutting-edge technology, business model innovations and FinTech partnerships that will position HKEX to maintain its leadership in the capital markets of tomorrow.
About the role:
As an Innovation Analyst, you will be deeply embedded in originating, designing and delivering the most exciting tech-driven business innovations taking place at HKEX. You will work closely with different HKEX business teams and external partners, focusing both on enhancements to improve our current business, and forward-looking ideas to help shape the Stock Exchange of the future. Sitting within the Innovation Lab’s Origination function, you will participate in idea brainstorming, filtering and refinement alongside business teams.

- play a key role in conceptualising, substantiating and trying out innovative solutions

Ready for the role. We’re open to candidates with 3-8 years’ of experience in corporate, advisory or entrepreneurial roles, aiming for an Associate-to-AVP level position. We will want to know that you have:
- a keen interest in modern FinTech and its applications to capital markets
- an ability to quickly grasp HKEX’s business model, strengths and weaknesses
- a committed work ethic with a hunger to learn
- a team-player attitude and ability to develop strong relationships
- the ability to write, speak and present fluently in English and (highly desirable) Chinese.
