 Assistant Manager - Fund Operations

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure delivery of accurate and timely NAV reports on a daily basis.
• Perform overall fund operation functions in relation to daily trade processing, settlement cycles on a board range of product types.
• Responsible for tracking options, futures, equity swap trades, CFD and positions across multiple Prime Brokers.
• Liaise with prime broker, executing broker, custodian bank and other service providers.
• Ensure settlement runs smoothly, to rectify and resolve trade breaks.
• Reconcile internal daily investment position against Prime Broker’s records.
• Handle custodian and brokerage trading account opening.
• Knowledge in both voluntary and mandatory corporate action events.
• Perform month-end NAV reconciliation against Fund Administrator’s record.
• Coordinating between the portfolio managers/traders and outside counterparties to resolve any issues that may occur.
• Directly involve in audit planning, preparation of annual audited financial statements.
• Assist with new fund launching.
• Assist in ad-hoc project.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines, CPA qualification would be a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of solid experience in hedge fund operations / fund administration industry.
• Experience in middle office and fund accounting.
• Familiar with front-to-back trade processing flow and settlement cycle.
• Strong product knowledge in cash equities, equity swaps, CFD, equity derivatives and fixed income products.
• Self-motivated, be able to work in a term and have ability to work under pressure and resolve issues.
• Fluent in English, Putonghua and Cantonese.
