OPPORTUNITIES IN MACAU AND BANGKOK – US$8-10k pm plus bonus

Our clients are a leading hotel/casino group in Macau and a leading international design consultants with offices across Asia with this role based in Bangkok.

Overview:

Senior Interior Designer is part of international design team for designing luxury urban and resort hotel projects around the globe. You will work closely with the Design Director and other team members, and you will work on space planning, design conceptualization and develop project designs. In addition, you will manage coordination with other consultants and participate in project meetings and presentations internationally.

This role requires unique concept design ability, a professional presentation style,articulative, creativity, good taste and good judgment.

In Brief:

• Manage the development of design projects as a senior member of the design team.
• Co-lead the project development, with the particular focus on quality, budget and schedule.
• Responsible for pre-design services including feasibility studies or specifications
• Actively participate in project meetings and presentations.
• Quality control, review design documentation and schedule project team deliverables.

Key Requirements to Success:

• Demonstrate success in luxury hospitality design projects.
• Experience in working with international hotel operators and consultants.
• Ability to work with multiple project teams, managing tight timelines, and collaborating with international designing teams.
• Proven experience in design leadership and managing projects and teams.
• 6 or more years of experience in interior design, particularly in the luxury hospitality sector
• Excellent CAD, Sketch Up and Photoshop skills, as well as excellent hand sketching ability.
• Must be able to communicate in excellent English (both written and verbal).
