POSITION OVERVIEW

ITEC, Nexperia’s in-house equipment supplier, develops, supplies and services world’s fastest pick & place equipment and testers for (discrete) semiconductors. ITEC equipment and solutions play an important role in the roadmap towards cost leadership in Nexperia’s assembly and test sites in Asia. The ITEC Product Support, Service and Supply Chain Management teams are located in Hong Kong.

For ITEC Hong Kong, we are looking for an enthusiastic, result-driven Product Team Manager Test, with a solid track record in the semiconductor test arena.

The Product Team Manager Test is leading the ITEC Test product team in Hong Kong; a team that plays a crucial role in providing service and support to the Nexperia production sites. Since the (internal) customers (i.e. Nexperia’s production sites) are in Asia and the development for Test Equipment is done in Europe, the Test product team forms the linking pin between the customer (with several hundreds of ITEC tools installed in China, Malaysia, the Philippines and Hong Kong) and the development team.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

In this exciting position, your responsibilities include, amongst others:

Ÿ Resource manager of the product team Test

Ÿ Overall responsible for the performance of the Test products from release to End-Of-Life

Ÿ Secures that the Test products meet best in class performance (quality, uptime, mtbf/mtba, coo) through service, installation/releases, training and improvements

Ÿ Drive phase-in and extension of Test solutions in manufacturing lines and application areas

Ÿ Manage, with the product team, customer complaints and alternate / obsolete parts sourcing and qualification together with ITEC’s suppliers

Ÿ Conduct continuous benchmarking on industry performance and features for the Test product portfolio

Ÿ Define, in alignment with the development team, the product roadmap to secure that ITEC’s Test solutions deliver on the customer’s expectation in terms of performance, features and timeline

Ÿ Member of the ITEC Operations Leadership team

YOUR PROFILE

Ÿ Strong engineering background (MSc/BSc in Electronic / Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation or related disciplines)

Ÿ Solid experience (10+ years) in the Semiconductor or High-Tech industry, with at least 5 years of experience in a managerial position

Ÿ Solid exposure to Semiconductor Testing (ATE) is an advantage

Ÿ Experience in project or program management, planning and risk management

Ÿ Strong problem-solving and organizing skills

Ÿ Good interpersonal and people management skills and able to deliver results through determination and team-work

Ÿ Excellent communication skills with fluency in English. Proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage

Ÿ Willing to travel frequently
