Responsibilities:

• As part of the project solution design, define, analyze and evaluate business requirements for projects by working in close liaison with stakeholders
• Propose architecturally sound solutions to business problems in relation to current and future business and IT environments
• Design, evaluate and recommend technical solutions that align with Wealth architecture road map
• Work closely with the Wealth team on solution architecture of Wealth projects
• Prepare, write and maintain documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Ensure traceability from requirements to solution is established from day one and maintained throughout the project
• Prepare architectural documentation and various architecture artifacts
• Prepare and conduct architecture and design workshops, walk through sessions, review meetings and presentations on system enhancements and/or alternatives.
• Provide assistance during implementation and testing by clarifying the solution, and keeping the design documentation in line with the implemented solution through version tracking

Requirements:

• Familiar (or preferably still hands-on) with any of the following: Java, Spring, Mule / MuleSoft, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Oracle RDBMS, NoSQL such as MongoDB, Jenkins, Visual Paradigm, AWS, JavaScript frameworks such as React, AngularJS, DevOps, Agile
• University graduate in the field of IT or related disciplines with a minimum of 7 years of working experience in systems analysis, design or development with 2 to 3 years in architecture
• Experienced in large-scale Java-based software development projects and be familiar with software development life-cycle and tools
• Has proven track records in designing IT systems in large scale organizations with experience in investment or wealth management applications
• Strong communications skills, both written and verbal in English; able to effectively interact with different groups of stakeholders within a project. Proactive and possessing good influencing skills
