JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a key, integral member of the consulting team, this Analyst / Senior Analyst effectively support our Chinese Multi-national Companies (CMNC) sector business as follows:

• With senior members’ support, participate / lead small to mid-sized human capital projects based on different client needs.
• Utilize Mercer’s proprietary consulting tools and public information to gather pay, HR practices and policies. Understand and provide insights to clients’ human capital practices including, but not limited to, Executive Compensation, Employee Compensation & Benefits, Talent Management, HR Effectiveness.
• Provide quantitative and qualitative analysis and draw meaningful conclusions. Advanced data analysis could be needed, using Microsoft Excel modeling or other statistical modeling tools.
• Participate in developing client presentations and deliverables. Work closely with project managers and senior consultants to determine ways to fine tune reports and presentations based on clients’ needs.
• Proactively support senior team members in developing the CMNC client base for new business. Activities include prospecting new clients via events, calls and meetings, following up closely on leads etc.
• Perform external research to understand CMNC industry trends, company news and competitor landscape.
• Proactively support the consulting team in peer review, brainstorm of solutions and various project tasks as needed.
• Partner with other divisions to advise or deliver workable solutions to CMNC on HR issues

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Fresh graduate or up to 3 years of relevant working experience. Suitable candidates would be given an Analyst or a Consultant position, depending on the relevant years of experience.
• Finance or accounting background strongly preferred.
• Project management experience, data analysis / modeling skills preferred.
• Strong analytical skills quantitatively and qualitatively.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task.
• Fluency in Mandarin and English. Cantonese strongly preferred.
