Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
ITEC, Nexperia’s in-house equipment supplier, develops, supplies and services world’s fastest pick & place equipment and testers for (discrete) semiconductors. ITEC equipment and solutions play an important role in the roadmap towards cost leadership in Nexperia’s assembly and test sites in Asia. The ITEC Product Support, Service and Supply Chain Management teams are located in Hong Kong.
For ITEC Hong Kong, we are looking for an enthusiastic, result-driven Business Development Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Management
Develop business creation plans in alignment with the product groups and execute on schedule
Develop customer account plans in alignment with the product groups and account managers and execute on schedule
Manage ITEC customer interface with the account managers to secure design-ins, address issues and maintain relation for best in class customer satisfaction
Prepare and align customer contracts
Financial Responsibility
Owns ITEC sales & margin targets, provides input for AOP/RFF process, controls the actuals and reports on appropriate actions in case of deviations
Owns ITEC sales & marketing budget, provides input for AOP/RFF process, controls the spend and reports on appropriate actions in case of deviations
Improvement Processes
Owns and drives continuous improvement for the ITEC account management process
Owns and drives continuous improvement for the ITEC sales & marketing process
Strategic & Business Management
Translate ITEC Vision into business development strategy realizing economy of scale, sustainable R&D funding and maximized ROI on ITEC product portfolio
Define ITEC account strategy developing towards a role as long-term trusted solutions provider for cutting edge technology
Sets direction for ITEC account management, sales and marketing processes towards best in class sales performance and customer satisfaction
Setup and manage market intelligence for ITEC portfolio on competitor strategy and market trends
With MT, LT and PG’s drive ITEC to a customer focused culture
Pulls new products, value propositions from the PG’s
Pulls new opportunities from industry and businesses
ITEC MT Member
Member of the ITEC Management Team:
Reporting to ITEC General Manager
Strategically: with MT colleagues defining ITEC strategic direction in business, development, operations & people and owning initiatives to execute accordingly
Operationally: Active role in MT review processes and performance beyond own domain providing teams with constructive feedback and supporting to resolve roadblocks
Network
Maintains a strong network with decision makers at ITEC customers, businesses and manufacturing sites
Maintains a strong network with equipment industry (partners, suppliers, competitors) to identify trends, market needs, partner capabilities and competitor responses
YOUR PROFILE
Business or Management studies and Others
Minimum 10 years’ experience with a successful track record in sales, marketing or business development in an international environment
Experienced in highly dynamic business environment, preferably Semiconductor Equipment
High multi-cultural sensitivity, able to adapt behavior to business situation and cultural context, preferably experienced in China business environment
Good technical understanding, analytical skills and result oriented
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, high credibility
Self-supporting, ability to build a strong product to a new business on all aspects
Preferably brings a network in the targeted Industry
Willingness to travel >20%
