Role Summary

The primary functions of this role is to:

  1. Deliver financial objectives for Client Accounts (Revenue & Profitability)
  2. Maintain Customer Satisfaction across multiple interfaces
  3. Lead the cross-functional teams assigned to Client Accounts for Design and Delivery
  4. Develop and execute plans to grow Client Accounts and New Business
  5. Take responsibility for the planning and delivery of design & construction projects

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Deliver financial objectives for Client Accounts (Revenue & Profitability)

  • Ensure that annual budgeted revenues for clients under your directorship are met
  • Manage the delivery of all client projects within their targeted GP
  • Put in place strategies to mitigate any risks to the above objectives

 

Maintain Customer Satisfaction across multiple interfaces

  • Champion the Client at all levels internally and inspire Client’s confidence
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with Clients at a senior level
  • Ensure GG teams deliver the utmost level of customer service
  • Ensure Client projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality level

 

Lead the cross-functional teams assigned to Client Accounts for Design and Delivery

  • Lead, train and manage all members of the team assigned to an Client activity to ensure effective delivery
  • Ensure that “End to End” projects are delivered seamlessly across the different business functions (i.e. Design, Procurement & Build)

 

Develop and execute plans to grow Client Accounts and New Business

  • Develop new lines of business with existing clients to deliver Revenue over and above that budgeted
  • Build new business relationships using existing industry contacts that deliver new revenue
  • Ensure that all new business opportunities meet minimum GP requirements

 

Take responsibility for the planning and delivery of design & construction projects

  • In consultation with our clients, identify and plan for upcoming projects
  • Resource projects appropriately and manage internal and external costs accordingly

 

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • Significant experience (10+ years) in professional client relationship management with proven results running multiple retail project concurrently
  • Strong Industry network and contacts
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • A background in retail development and/or design
  • The ability to plan and strategise at a senior level
  • A persuasive and confident approach to creative projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective team management capabilities
  • A keen attention to detail and budgetary restraints
  • Full awareness of creative processes and techniques
