Our client is a well known professional services firm (international network of professional firms) located in Hong Kong. They specialize in audit, tax, advisory services and have locations in major cities worldwide. They are expanding their Hong Kong office operations and is currently hiring Manager/Senior Manager to join their team!

Practice Protection Department – Senior Manager/ Manager

Responsibilities:

The candidate will assist the Head of Practice Protection Department to handle technical matters as well as the risk management matters of the Firm. He/she will also work closely with the Training Committee on training matters. His/ her main responsibilities include:

• Carry out technical review on high risk engagements;
• Monitor the Firm’s compliance with internal and relevant professional, ethical standards and guidelines;
• Plan, co-ordinate and prepare for training matters including tutoring training classes.

Qualification:

• University graduate in accounting or related field
• CPA qualification is a must
• 6 years or above working experience in international professional accounting firms
• In-depth knowledge of HKFRS, HKSAs and Listing Rules with strong audit sense
• Strong self-motivation, able to work independently with strong commitment; able to work under tight timeline
• Good writing skills and communication skills
• Computer literacy and proficient with Windows applications
• Prior working experience in technical and risk management matters is not a prerequisite but is a definite advantage
• More experience may be considered as Senior Manager
