Title : Contract Business Support Officer - Retail Banking operations, CHATS, Risk Management), monitoring financial transactions

Job Objective/Principal Responsibilities

• Complete the day to day activities of the section in an efficient and cost-effective manner according to established procedures, bank policies and service standards
• Act as an independent party to perform transaction screening for both outward and inward CHATS and TT
• Monitor and review the fraudulent and sanction hit alerts and escalate to relevant parties in timely manner
• Handle and respond to inquiries / requests from internal departments on transaction status and related matters
• Effectively communicate within own unit and with other departments/ divisions
• Manage periodic / adhoc risk related assessments and reviews
• Escalate exceptional / outstanding / suspicious transactions to unit / section manager and other relevant parties per the Incident Management Policy

Relevant Experience

• Minimum 1 years working experience in banking operations or relevant experience
• Minimum 1 year in risk and control functions or relevant experience

Functional / Technical Competencies

• Basic knowledge and experience of banking operations
• Strong senses of risk control and management
• Accuracy and thoroughness in work
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and perform efficiently under pressure
• Self-motivated with good problem-solving skills
• Good interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Good PC knowledge and skills

Educational qualification

•  Degree Holder
