Purpose

To design sport performance right products for the Gym Aesthetics brand as part of an international design team in cooperation with marketing and development

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop creative solutions to concepts within a range. Present the designs in context to the category direction
• Self-Manage own creative process and execute towards given design languages within the category
• Ensure efficient process and communication flow between design, marketing and development for all issues regarding the designed ranges and products

 Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Strong knowledge of sport performance apparel, fashion product and fashion design / industrial product or industrial design
• Demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills to all level including senior management
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Good knowledge of product development, material and trims
• Aware of market & performance, trend analysis and time in the relevant market place
• Develop expertise on the target consumer and the retail environment for the global region
• Support in managing junior designers
• Team player
• Knowledge and use of MacOS computer design, software / systems (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Advance knowledge of tech pack development
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Sportswear Designer
• Excellent English, Cantonese / Mandarin preferred

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in design in Fashion Design / Sportswear Design or equivalent
• With 7 years’ design experience and sports apparel design experience is preferred
• Proven experience working in a big sportswear brand and sound knowledge of the entire design process
