We are currently searching for a Director of Creative Arts to join a bilingual International School with very strong emphasis on Chinese language and culture. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for: The leadership, management and oversight of the work of all teachers working in the creative arts and develop a coherent approach to arts education across all arts related subjects.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• To undertake a lead role in developing creativity within the arts subjects and across the school.
• To develop the arts policy and action plan, in particular increasing curricular and arts activity.
• To co-ordinate the work of the subject leaders and teachers within the creative arts faculty, developing a shared ethos and common approaches.
• To support the professional development of staff within the Faculty, acting as a role model of good teaching practice.
• To prepare and organise term and annual School Event like Christmas performance, CNY performance, drama festival and graduation celebration 

Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Education or in Creative Arts related subjects with PGCE/PGDE
• At least 3 years teaching experience within a recognized educational organization
• A high level of fluency in English and Mandarin
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
