Damco is seeking a User Experience Designer to join our global eCommerce product team. At Damco we connect and simplify supply chains across the globe. The eCommerce team focuses on digital products which enable our customers to deliver any product anywhere, anytime, through any channel. The users of our eCommerce products are typically the customers who are benefiting from the fast-growing e-commerce market with complex supply chain challenges. We work according to Agile practices and with exciting new technology (both architecture and front-end) on modern digital experiences for our large global customer base.

As User Experience Designer, you will be the bridge between users and our organization. You'll be responsible for covering the entire UX design process. In your team, you are an advocate for user-centered design and ensure validated experiences which are aligned with our business goals and user needs, as well as leveraging our technology to its full potential. You'll be supported by the Damco UX Guild with members around the globe.

Key responsibilities:

• User research (observation, usability testing, personas, journey maps)
• Facilitating ideation and co-creation sessions
• Prototyping and validation (e.g. usability testing)
• Contribution to UX pattern design and guidelines
• Acting as ambassador on UX design practices

Who we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience as UX designer within (Agile) software development
• Experience in working in an international environment
• Fluent in the English language, both verbal and in writing
• Excellent communication skills, able to build and maintain relationships
• Analytical skills and user-centered approach
• Collaborative mindset, open to feedback
• Great with design and prototyping tools (Axure preferred)
• Knowledge of modern web technology and cloud
