An international buying office is looking for QA professional to join them as Quality Engineer (Home Appliance).

About the ROLE:

• Ensure quality standards and procedures are in compliance
  
• Work with QA in head office to conducting research into product standards and specifications; and develop quality standard specification
  
• Ensure regular audit is conducted to evaluate suppliers’ and factories’ performance
• Follow up the CAPs with suppliers or factories and ensure the improvement is effective by audit or inspection
• Liaise with other stakeholders to improve the product quality and suppliers’ or factories’ performance with lowest possible cost
• Participate in strategic quality projects to drive products and suppliers’ improvement

What we look in YOU:

• Degree holder in Engineering or related disciplines
• At least 2 years of QA experience
  
• Strong knowledge in the production of home appliance / SDA
• Strong communication skills & good at problem solving
• Proficiency in both written / spoken English
• Knowledge in ISO9000 & SA8000, GMP and factory audit experience is an advantage
• Travelling is required
