Job Description

Key responsibilities: -

  • Supervising and overseeing the direction of the project, ensuring that the client’s specifications and requirements are met.

 

  • Inspection and quality control with in-house QC upon approval status of products.
    • Factory visits at furniture white works stages – identify and document all / any rectifications required
    • Factory visits at furniture finished product stages – identify and document all / any rectifications required.
    • Programme and monitor a rectification schedule in accordance with required milestones.

 

  • Project delivery
    • Identify and document all required milestones for products from procurement through to installation. You must be able to identify from this schedule any products that are behind schedule and propose solutions.
    • Liaise with client / contractor to correctly phase the delivery schedule for all areas on the Project. Identify the delivery dates per area on the ‘Programme schedule’.
    • Work with the Shipping department to schedule in all required container deliveries to site in accordance with the required programme.
    • Liaise with the installation contractor to ensure that he is prepared and informed of all the delivery timetables for containers. Furnish them with the required packing lists and all documentation for easy reference.
    • Monitor the installation timetable closely and work closely with the installation contractor to ensure that the project completion dates are achieved.

 

  • Liasion
    • Liaising regular meetings between different project team to ensure the status to address any foreseeable problems for discussions, procurement, delivery arrangement and installation progress.

 

Requirements: -

  • Good knowledge of site management and decision-making ability
  • Good in written & spoken English, Cantonese & Mandarin language
  • Self-motivated, independent & can work under pressure.
  • Good communication, team working and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in PC based program, WORD, EXCEL, E-MAIL etc.
  • Willing and able to travel to different areas of Mainland China
  • Energetic, flexible, and positive approach to work attitude
  • With furniture knowledge is an added advantage
