A Marketing Manager is a professional that focuses on publicizing and increasing awareness of a particular brand. Individuals employed as fashion- Marketing Manager usually has extensive job experience and an undergraduate degree in an industry related subject, such as marketing or fashion merchandising.
Duties and Responsibilities –
As part of their usual responsibilities, as a Marketing Manager assist company as follows:
- Plan, implement and execute strategic online and offline marketing campaigns such as brand advertising, social media and mobile marketing, digital CRM etc. and monitoring brand quality;
- Develop innovative, high quality digital and social media strategies to optimize and align with the KPI set;
- Increase Brand Awareness within the fashion community as well as customer base;
- Monitor the reactions of customers and retail outlets to new products and brand initiatives;
- Studying competitor’s products and services – must maintain competitive edge;
- Exploring ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability;
- Identifying target markets and developing strategies to communicate with them;
- Responsibility for branding and marketing new products;
- Manages PR relationships – Region specific;
- Manages all Sales Support functions;
- Manages the production of promotional material;
- Liaising with other internal departments such as sales and creative design;
- Produces reports to monitor results;
- Presents findings and suggestions to company directors and/or senior managers;
- Travel as needed to marketing events, new store openings, and etc.;
- Preparing and managing marketing plans and budgets;
- Oversee subordinate employees;
- Participate in other ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Skills and Specifications -
- Have knowledge of a wide range of marketing techniques and concepts;
- Should be able to understand the psychology of the customers and their taste;
- Must be able to interact skillfully with the other fellow workers;
- Knowledge of product pricing;
- Great organizational and coordinating skills;
- Be an excellent communicator;
- Be able to respond well to pressure;
- Think creatively;
- Be interested in what motivates people.
Education and Qualifications -
- A graduate degree in fashion merchandising, business administration or fashion marketing from an accredited institution;
- Degree or diploma course in fashion designing is an added advantage.
- Less experience will be considered as an Assistant Marketing Manager
