Responsibilities

• Follow up the entire merchandising procedure including sample development, order placement, bulk production and quality issues independently;
• Handle price negotiation, material and factory sourcing, product development, costing etc.;
• Liaise with the buyers and the factories closely;
• Coordinate with factories to follow through the manufacturing process to ensure on-time delivery;
• Work with the technical and quality control teams to ensure all buyers’ requirements are met.

Requirements

• Higher Diploma / Degree holder in merchandising, fashion, textile or related discipline;
• At least 5 years' relevant experience in garment buying office or garment trading industry;
• Solid experience in handling Knit/ Woven/ Denim items;
• Good communication and negotiation skills to liaise with buyers and factories;
• Well organization skills to deal with the complex requirements from customers;
• Responsible, independent, detail-minded and initiative;
• Good command of spoken and written English, Chinese and Putonghua;
• Immediate available is preferred.
