Job Description

Russell Reynolds Associates, one of the leading global executive search firms, is looking to make a critical hire in our Asia Pacific knowledge management team. We are seeking an intellectually curious, motivated, tenacious and communicative individual to join us as a Knowledge Analyst in the Consumer sector.

 

Making an impact in this entry-level role will lay a foundation for an international career with one of the top global executive search firms. The role also offers an in depth understanding of and exposure to diverse companies across consumer products & services, retail & luxury, digital & media, and leisure & hospitality.

 

Knowledge Analysts will partner with Sector Knowledge Managers and Sector Leaders to support sector knowledge agendas, and play a key role in shaping discussions with clients and candidates, and ultimately in developing a lasting impact on these valued partners.

 

Key responsibilities can be summarized as:

 

-          Pitch and Business Development Support: Producing useful information and materials in support of business development efforts with a clear focus on generating and delivering content and insights that serve as a clear source of differentiation in the market. 

 

-          Insight Generation: Working in partnership with others to generate thought-leadership deliverables that garner market attention, convey compelling points of view, and enrich the content of market-facing advisory work.

 

-          Proactive Pipeline Building: Proactively identifying and monitoring key industry talent, with a focus on early identification of “rising stars”. Assisting with academy company identification and mapping.

 

-          Project and Analytic Support for Strategy Development: In partnership with sector leaders, serving as a resource for providing analytic, data-driven support for strategic planning, go-to-market strategies and tactical business-development initiatives.

 

-          Classic Knowledge Management: Driving a rigorous approach to managing knowledge, with an emphasis on ensuring that market-facing teams are able to quickly find and use information, tools and data to meet their objectives. Tracking, storing and disseminating sector trends, talent moves, thought leadership and best practice documents.

This individual is intellectually curious and will have the capacity to manage multiple activities to completion.  The ideal candidate will be results oriented and have strong attention to detail. 

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from a highly-respected institution.

  • Outstanding record of academic achievement.

 

Required Skills

  • Outstanding problem solver; highly analytical; superior logical reasoning capabilities; excellent qualitative analysis skills; comfort with (and willingness to develop) quantitative analysis skills.

  • Ability to quickly filter and synthesize large volumes of information, identifying key points and providing relevant insights to senior leaders.

  • Excellent writing skills and presentation-development capabilities; demonstrated ability to produce succinct, relevant documentation; demonstrated ability to conceptualize and execute insight-rich reports.

  • Outstanding oral communication skills; ability to state points clearly and concisely.

  • Highly effective in working as a member of a team.

  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with statistical software packages a plus.
