Lazada Global (LazGlobal) based in Hong Kong  is a dynamic and international team around 100 people that supports international sellers to sell into South East Asia. These sellers are mainly based in China, South Korea, Japan, Australia and United States.

Summary of the role

Empowering our sellers and brands with technology is the vision for Lazada. A large part of that is to provide our sellers with the right tools for them to scale and grow. Lazada International is now looking for strong driver of tools launches and seller adoption who is used to reach challenging commercial targets. If you are passionate about finding the right product market fit and creating tangible commercial impact, then this might be the role for you. You would be a part of a fast moving and cross-cultural company and a team that wants to change the every-day-life of our sellers.

Key tasks and responsibilities

End-to-End responsible for managing the roadmap and launch plans for all in-house built tools within our Seller Center for Lazada International

  • Gather requirements from Lazada International’s business teams and work with the technology and product management team to ensure right product market fit for our International sellers
  • Decide on the launch strategy and plans to then work with other functions (e.g. account management and seller training) to ensure a successful launch to our seller

Drive commercial impact by ensuring seller adoption and optimizing usage based on commercial targets

  • Independently create and manage the tool adoption strategy and plan to maximize commercial impact
  • Articulate the unique selling points, positioning and gather best-practices for each of the tools across the different seller segments
  • Come up with initiatives and actions to boost tools adoption and usage to ensure commercial targets are met
  • Proven high performer and doer who thrives in fast paced and demanding environment
  • Passion for growing E-Commerce and Technology in the Region
  • Strong in cross-functional project management and stakeholder management of senior stakeholders
  • Strong analytical capability and drive insights from numbers
  • Good communicator in both spoken & written English and Chinese (Mandarin is mandatory, Cantonese is preferred)
  • Willing to travel occasionally
  • Bachelor or above in Business, Engineering or other relevant fields
  • 3-5 years of work experience, preferably from ecommerce, sales or consulting
