Job Purpose

The Assistant Finance Manager will be responsible for providing support to Finance Manager in managing the finance function in the country including producing the sets of accounts for the legal entity, reporting and budgeting and forecasting.

Position Responsibilities

• Monthly management account preparation
• Production of profit and loss
• To complete and maintain sales invoices and reports
• Accruals & prepayments
• Preparation of the Accounts Pack for review
• Bank reconciliation, posting and balancing
• Weekly wages, petty cash and other journal posting
• Daily bank receipts postings
• Year budget preparation
• Year end audit analysis
• Work on month-end closing & prepare reconciliation statements
• Prepare various financial analysis
• Ensure all expenses are allocated into proper accounts
• Petty Cash management
• Invoicing & payment chasing duties
• Ad-hoc tasks as assigned by manager

Education & Experience

• Bachelor Degree or above in Accounting/Finance or related discipline with professional qualifications in HKICPA or CPA
• Minimum 3 years' of solid experience in accounting and financial management preferably in MNC 
• Proficient in standard office software, including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and accounting software preferably AccPac/Sage
• Experience in setting up and/or migrating accounting system would be an advantage
• Mature, self initiative and able to work independently under pressure
• Strong business acumen and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient user in MS Office, especially in Excel Spreadsheet
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua)
