Reporting to the Building Surveyors, the incumbent will be responsible for day-to-day supervision of contractors on large scale commercial renovation projects in the commercial buildings in Hong Kong.  The major responsibilities include inspecting, supervising and reporting the progress of site works, identifying discrepancies on site and report findings, coordinating with designers, project managers, consultants, contractors and property management teams proactively to resolve challenges on site, attending emergency calls, coordination with suppliers and contractors. The position will be offered to suitable candidate on contract basis.

Requirements:

• Higher Certificate / Certificate in Building / Building Studies or equivalent; or completed a recognized Technical Apprenticeship
• Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in which 3 years site supervision and experience in building construction, renovation and fitting out preferable
• Candidate with less academic qualification with 10 years renovation project experiences may also be considered
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with people at all levels
• Fluency in spoken and written Chinese
• Required to work in shifts (including mid-night shift)
