Responsibilities:

• Developing store strategies to raise customers’ pool, expand store traffic and optimize profitability
• Meeting sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring and providing feedback to store staff
• Ensuring high levels of customers satisfaction through excellent service
• Complete store administration and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
• Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards
• Report on # of trails, children language needs, profits etc
• Propose innovative ideas to increase market share
• Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths
• Deal with all issues that arise from staff or customers (complaints, grievances etc)
• Be a shining example of well behavior and high performance
• Additional store manager duties as needed

Requirements:

• Proven successful experience as a shop/ school manager
• Powerful leading skills and business orientation
• Customer management skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• BS degree in Business Administration or relevant field

Area of responsibility:

1. Operational Responsibilities

• To be responsible for the day-to-day running of the school, ensuring compliance with
• registration and legislative requirements at all times.
• To ensure that the nursery conforms to and exceeds the requirements of Book Talk
• Recruit and hire CS staff for the school to meet the needs of children for parents.
• Complete schedules and assign duties and responsibilities to the school’s staff.
• Able to standardise operations procedure for smooth operation

2. Individual Accountability

• Manage own time to complete tasks effectively, prioritising workload and delegating tasks to management team. Monitor and evaluate progress of delegated tasks, providing constructive feedback.
• Work within the margins of confidentially respecting information pertaining to children,parents and staff.
• To communicate effectively with all members of staff and be professional at all times.
• To ensure that all staff are aware of their areas of responsibility and to be able to clearly demonstrate an awareness of own areas of responsibility and how these are being met.
• To be a key holder for Book Talk

3. Sale & Marketing

• Able to meet the targets and earning profits
• Able to meet KPI for shop
• Responsible for the smooth and effective functioning of the store
• Able to arrange staff and manpower from marketing plan

4. Customer service skills:

• Provide excellence customer services to all parents and children
• Demand performance from our front of house staff to provide
• Provide training to all customer services staff
