What’s the job?

We are looking to establish part of our global Treasury team in Hong Kong and require a new team member for to assist with the day-to-day tasks during Hong Kong business hours. The person will be managed remotely and therefore requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to work under pressure, excel as team player and display highest levels of accuracy, trustworthiness and reliability. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced, high energy environment with an ability to deal with multiple tasks at the same time.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day Treasury related tasks (both internal and external) and investigation and resolution of queries;
• Assist with the Treasury Management System management including data capture and verification;
• Work with banks to resolve queries as needed; perform regular review of all bank accounts to ensure they are accurate and audit ready;
• Assist with development of Treasury policies, procedures, operational controls and standards;
• Assist with monitoring and managing company’s daily cash position and ensure adequate liquidity;
• Assist with the allocation of incoming deposits to internal systems and client accounts;
• Assist the department in fulfilling all regulatory requirements and related reporting;
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day conduct and supervision of cash management activities.

Have you accomplished this kind of qualifications?

• BA in Economics, Finance or Accounting 
• At least 1-2 years of relevant treasury experience
• Working knowledge of cash management products and concepts
• High level of communication skills in both English and Chinese
• High level of excel
• Analytical thinking, detail oriented, IT oriented
