Responsibilities:

• Report to US head office and CFO
• Perform valuation of investment products (e.g. Pre-IPO equities, Bonds, Assets, etc.)
• Calculate and monitor returns (e.g. IRR, ROE, ROA) of investment projects
• Monitor compliance of post-investment procedures of investment projects
• Review returns under Securities and Futures (Financial Resources) Rules
• Liaise with auditor for coordination of audit/review and tax reporting
• Prepare financial analysis (e.g. transfer pricing), forecast and budgeting to support informed management decision making
• Handle Company Secretary’s works such as preparation of shareholders and directors meeting minutes (in Chinese), filing with Companies Registry and maintenance of registers of the company and its subsidiaries
• Coordinate with the accounting teams in US Head Office, Hong Kong and the PRC
• Perform any other tasks as assigned

Qualifications / Requirements

• Degree holder or above in related disciplines with professional qualifications;
• Professional Qualification in CFA or HKICPA, and Member of HKICS/ICSA
• At least 8 years of solid working experience gained in IPO, M&A, and Commercial Real Estate are highly preferable
• Has relevant experience from sizable investment firms and/or investment banks. Rich experience in SFC regulated licensed corporation carrying out type 1, 4, 6, and 9 regulated activities is preferred
• Familiar with HK and PRC accounting standards, taxation, customs, etc.;
• Self-motivated and result driven, able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
• Possess excellent communication skills in both verbal and written English, Chinese and Mandarin;
• Based in Hong Kong, occasional travel to other parts of PRC is required;
• Immediate available is highly preferred;
