Healthy Matters (healthymatters.com.hk) is a startup providing trusted health information in Hong Kong via (i) events, (ii) publications and (iii) online.

What we are looking for

We are looking for a passionate and committed editor. This is an exceptional opportunity to produce quality content, be part of a mission-driven startup and help build a great community.

This position is for a dynamic person with fluent/native English writing skills, who ideally has interest in health & healthcare.

Responsibilities:

• Researching, writing, editing and proofreading high-quality articles in English.
• Main focus will be to produce relevant, engaging online articles.
• Delivering editorial schedule in coordination with team / objectives.
• Liaising with outside experts (e.g. health professionals) for fact-checking and content-related discussions.
• Helping to promote produced content on relevant platforms.
• Drafting various other content as needed.
• Handling other projects as assigned, in line with business growth & priorities.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English, excellent writing skills and communication skills are required
• Attention to detail
• Interest in health / healthcare industry
• Knowledge of Wordpress will be an advantage
• Interest/knowledge in digital marketing and SEO is a plus
• Team player willing to join a new adventure & achieve a common goal
• Able to work under pressure
