Job Responsibilities :

•  Responsible for the coordination of design & site work.
• Coordinate with consultants and in-house engineers/architect for development of method statements, technical schemes.
• Coordinate and prepare submissions for approval, progress reports, materials selection and ITP documents together with the respective project departments.
• Plans the works to ensure they are compatible with the programme requirements of domestic, nominated, designated and interfacing contractors.
• Coordinate and monitor design, manufacture, installation and commissioning of works are carried out in accordance with drawings and specifications and including inspection for correct positions, lines and levels are within allowable tolerances.
• Carries out periodic site inspections to ensure implementation of systems of work.
• Assists in reviewing construction sequences from traffic / logistic management perspective and outlines any possible deficiencies for consideration.
• Liaises with Highways Department, Transport Department, Hong Kong Police and Project’s site representatives as necessary for all on/off site management.
• Execute defect management and prepare handover documents for submission together with respective project departments.

Job Requirements :

• Degree / Higher Diploma in Building Engineering / Construction Management

• 6 years or above post graduated experience on design and / or on-site construction work experience including at least 3 years on-site planning, coordinating and reporting experiences.

• Familiar with statutory submission procedures at various construction stages.
• Best with proficient in project planning computer application (MS Project, Primavera P6 / P7.2)
• Able to work independently and work together with other team members
• Fluency in both spoken and writing in English and Chinese.
• Candidates with less experience / academic qualification will be considered as Project Coordinator / Assistant Project Coordinator
