We are looking for an assistant fashion designer located in Hong Kong. Applicant will be trained in Shanghai by a team of experienced fashion designers. Applicant will need to travel on a daily basis between Hong Kong, Shenzhen and our factory facility in Huizhou, Guangdong province.

Duties/requirement:

• Study fashion/Accessory trends in high-end and local markets and anticipate designs that will appeal to consumers
• Understand garment construction and able to read, create and follow up with technical packages.
• Use computer-aided design programs (CAD) such as PS and AI.
• Willing and able to work with our factory in Huizhou, Guangzhou
• Attend trade shows to get fabric samples, source fabric/trims in local markets
• Assist head designer and CEO with routine tasks such as trend research, sourcing, coordination with factory and vendors.
• Act as a liason between design department and marketing/e-commerce, communicating ideas and provide insight on market trends.

Qualifications

• University / College graduate with fashion design designation.
• Minimum one-year experience in related field.
• Applicant should be creative, hard-working and willing to take risks
• Applicant should have a vision for the company’s future designs
• Applicant should be hands-on with materials and clothing design
• Applicant should have experience/represent the target market of the company and know how to market to them
• Applicant should be positive and should get along with a variety of personalities.
