Role and Responsibilities

• In charge of the engineering department with responsibilities/ functions including project management, mechanical engineering, electronic hardware and software engineering, acoustic engineering, packaging engineering and engineering system management
• Review and enhance the engineering development guidelines, new project introduction process, engineering change management, project budgeting plan and control process, KPI evaluation process on engineering development and guidance for all OEM/ ODM/ JDM/ OBM project development
• Review and approve submissions of “New Project Feasibility Review”, “Product Design Release”, “Quality Testing and Evaluation Report” and “Engineering Change Notice”
• Develop timeline of project with milestone review and approval. Monitor whole project development process including cost control and reduction
• Pioneer the establishment of new internal engineering facilities such as acoustic laboratory and equipment, other product development facilities and equipment as well as manufacturing testing equipment
• Support new business development, coordinate new technologies brainstorming program, drive advance manufacturing techniques/ process introduction and implementation and provide guidance on internal engineering training program

Qualifications and Required Attributes

• Degree in Engineering or related disciplines
• Minimum 10 years’ working experience in electronic manufacturing services industry (EMS) with 5 years at senior management level
• Solid experience in consumer electronic products OEM/ODM program management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with customers
• Stationed in Dongguan factory is required
