1. Job Summary

Under general supervision, ensures the safety of members in the swimming pool area by preventing and responding to emergencies, whilst also maintaining a clean and safe swimming pool facility.

2. Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains constant surveillance of members in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure safety of members in the event of an emergency.
• Maintains a clean facility, ensuring swimming pool and surrounding areas are clean and tidy at all times.
• Understand and maintain swimming pool water quality, recording accurate PH levels, Chlorine Levels and temperature hourly.
• Maintains first aid equipment, ensuring equipment is in working order at all times.
• Presents professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintains a high standard of customer service.
• Enforces the house rules, maintaining authority when members do not follow.
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by Activities Manager.

3. Job Specification

• Education: Form 5
• Experience: at least 2 years lifeguard with experience
• Professional Qualification: 
• Holder of a valid Hong Kong Pool Lifeguard Award
• International Lifeguard Qualifications
• Valid and current First Aid/CPR/AED Certificates
• Skills:
• Basic Spoken and Written English
• Good management, organization, communication and interpersonal skills
• Personality:
• Tactful, patient and fair
• Good listener, problem solver, patience Outgoing, enthusiastic
