Job Description
Our client, an expanding IT solutions provider with more than 200 staff, is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following position:
(13mon+B, 14AL)
(Permanent job employed directly by our client)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing and administrating Oracle database 11G and other NoSQL databases.
- Perform system analysis, planning, design, implementation, monitoring, capacity management, security operations, trouble-shooting and documentation of database system.
- Maintain high system availability and ensure all database systems work properly
- Provide technical support to application developers
- Responsible for database backup strategy, system disaster recovery
- Ensure database system is secure
- Work in irregular working hours when required
Requirements
- Minimum 4-8 yrs of experience on Oracle database 11G and RAC administration
- Knowledge in Oracle database HA/DR solutions
- Knowledge in NoSQL database will be an advantage
- Solid experience in database installation, backup & recovery, performance tuning and monitoring
- Solid experience in Oracle database operations in Linux environment
- Basic knowledge of Linux operation.
- Holder of Oracle database certificates is highly preferable
- Can work independently, innovative, self-motivated and strong problem solving skills
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
- Immediate availability is an advantage
