Responsibilities

• Work closely with developer to create test plans, test cases and scripts in alignment with testing strategies and new business requirements;
• Identify deficiencies in test plans and procedures, enhance test coverage accordingly, as well as ensure the appropriate regression tests are in place;
• Execute and monitor testing via manual and automated techniques;
• Investigate and provide root cause analysis of software and system defects and escalate failures to the appropriate teams;
• Assist development teams in promoting, building and staging s/w and debugging build errors;
• Follow change control management procedures, understand and employ best practices for configuration, infrastructure, and environmental changes;
• Define the software release strategy with delivery team;
• Review program code and unit tests to leverage knowledge to understand best areas to increase test coverage through automation;
• Work on multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other related IT field;
• 3 years minimum experience in software QA or software development environment, with experience in financial or Forex industry is an advantage;
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, practices, testing tools, and bug tracking/reporting;
• Managing experience in leading/coordinating a global QA team is a plus;
• Experience in SQL database and web application QA testing;
• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
• Candidates with more experience will be considered as Assistant Quality Assurance Manager.
